In order to become licensed in the state of Massachusetts, 1,000 hours of vigorous coursework in theory, cutting, color, perms and relaxers, skin care, nail care, styling, sanitation, etc. are required.  A licensure exam offered by the State of MA is the final step toward starting your career and at Ailano, we will not exit a student that is not confident that they will succeed.  Our educators keep training fresh and industry relevant by utilizing the Pivot Point Salon Fundamentals textbooks, industry DVDs, practical demonstrations, and clinic practice.  You will retain pertinent information because Ailano's teaching techniques focus on your learning style.

Manicuring - Nail Technology

In order to become licensed in the state of Massachusetts, 100 hours of vigorous coursework in theory, manicuring, pedicuring, tips, gels, acrylics, sanitation, etc. are required.  Our Manicuring program more than prepares you for the state licensure exam.  Our focus is on salon preparedness and we are always on the look out for new techniques and products to ensure that our graduates have a solid foundation as they bgin their career in the salon or spa.  Our educators keep training fresh and industry relevant by utilizing the Milady Nail Technology textbooks and DVDs, OPI and Creative Nail Design (CND) DVDs, practical demonstrations, and clinic practice.
